THE PRESIDENT
The president shall be Rev DR Mrs. Alice Zuriel Ononuju. The initiator of COWOM shall be the pioneer national and life president for as long as she is able to act in the capacity except she decides otherwise under the leading of the Holy Spirit. The initiator of COWOM accepts t he work as a life calling of our lord Jesus Christ and will want to work with other Christian brethren as the lord makes possible to carry on the mission. If the initiator is no longer available for this purpose and has not named a successor, the Executive council in conjunction with the immediate family members and the members of the Board of Trustees under the guidance of the Holy Spirit shall prayerfully decide.
FUNCTIONS OF THE EXECUTIVE COUNCIL
i The Executive Council together with the Board of Trustee shall be
responsible for the administration and management of the COWOM.
ii Shall promote and recommend ways of improving the welfare of the Ministry.
iii shall hold meetings when necessary.
iv shall ensure that the Ministry works in conformity with her aims and objectives.
v They shall consider and act upon any and all matters pertaining to the general interest and welfare of the Ministry.
vi Matters which concern difficulties or measures relating to one of more COWON officials and or workers shall be referred to the council.
vii shall be to counsel the National president in all matters pertaining to the general interest of the ministry.
viii. Is authorized to initiate a radio and television programme for the interest of the COWOM.
ix The General Assembly is the Supreme and highest decision making organ of the organization.
x. All decision taken by an officer or organ of the organization shall be subject to rectification by general assembly.
xi. The organization may appoint special or adhoc committee wherever and whenever the need arises.
xii. The Special/Adhoc Committee of the organization shall be dissolved at the end of its assignment.
THE PATRONS
GENERAL ASSEMBLY
i There shall be General Assembly for the organization which shall compromise all members of the organization.
ii The General Assembly is the Supreme and highest decision making organ of the organization.
iii All decisions taken by an officer or organ of the organization shall be subject to rectification by the general assembly.
iv The organization may appoint special or adhoc committee wherever or whenever the need arises.
v The Special/Adhoc Committee of the organization shall be dissolved at the end of its assignment.
RESIGNATION
BOARD OF TRUSTEES
a The Trustees of COMPASSIONATE WOMEN OUTREACH MINISTRY for the purpose of the Companies and Allied Matters Act No. 1 of 1990 Part C shall be appointed at a General meeting. The quorum shall be two-third (2/3) majority votes of members present in the meeting.
b Such Trustees (hereinafter referred to “Trustees”) shall be in number and shall be known as the incorporated. Trustees of “COMPASSIONATE WOMAN OUTREACH MINISTRY”
C The Trustees may hold office for life, but a trustees shall cease to hold office it he/she.
FUNCTION OF THE TRUSTEES
THE GENERAL SECRETARY
a He shall assist and be responsible for all secretarial duties of
the Ministry.
b He shall in conjunction with the Chairman summon all meetings of the Ministry.
c He shall be responsible the secretarial matters taking down the minutes of all the Ministry activities and dealing with correspondences.
d He shall compile a report on the activities of the Ministry.
e He shall carry out any other function that may be assigned to him from time to time by National President.

EXTERNAL ACTIVITIES OF COWOM
The ministry shall carry out outreaches at places such as rural areas from time to time to give clothes, food etc to the needy (widows and orphans). The ministry shall embark on evangelism at public places, like markets, in order to raise funds and materials necessary for outreaches, COWOM also takes care of the poor and needy who are neither widows nor orphans. The ministry takes care of orphans, and children who have been abandoned, fatherless, motherless, homeless, no relation and family. The ministry also takes care of the members and their children.
The ministry shall have special thanksgiving in November every year whereby education on charity will be given to the invitees from churches and well wishers during the thanksgiving.
COWOM through various channels including public lectures, camp meetings, audio and video tapes, print and electronic media, provide educations and sermons that will expand the scope of its activities within.
An officer of the organization may be impeached upon a written motion for impeachment signed by at least three (3) members of the organization and submitted to the general secretary or chairman of the organization.
The executive council shall appoint a committee that will only comprise of not more than five (5) members of the ministry that shall investigate the allegation with a view to determining whether or not the erring member has a case to answer and submit the reports within one month.
If the erring member has a case to answer, he shall be given opportunity to defend himself.
After a trial, the decision of the committee shall be sent to executive council for approval and ratification by the general assembly.
An officer shall stand impeached if at least two thirds of all members of the organization present in a meeting vote in support of the motion for impeachment.
